Tony has written this book to inspire other people with hearing, language, developmental and any other issues which create a handicap. He encourages them to persevere and to have the lives they want.

About the Author
Anthony (Tony) Lulich is a remarkable man who has overcome extreme hearing loss to have traveled widely in Europe, Israel, Canada, Alaska and the Continental United States. He has loyalty and respect for his family and friends. He is much respected by all for his simplicity and honesty. He is the youngest of twelve children. His hearing may have been irreparably damaged by a blow to the head before he was two years old. His mother and father were poor people and his father held as many as three jobs to provide for so many. Tony was enrolled in several programs and schools designed for hearing-impaired children in the Beaverton-Hillsboro communities of Western Oregon. Then, as a ninth-grader, he met James Huffman, ESD and school speech therapist who had a great influence on his life. He made great progress with the help of Huffman and since has attended community college classes in drafting and has held jobs in these areas. Tony started a janitorial service with a brother which failed, leaving them many thousands in debt. Tony paid off all the debts and since has traveled many places here in the United States including Alaska, in Canada and Europe: Switzerland, Germany and Israel. He hopes when he retires to live on the Oregon Coast while he continues his travels, especially in Switzerland. Tony decided he wanted to write a book to help others and give them encouragement in their attempts to cope in “a hearing world."
