Loving Michael

Although the book was extremely interesting it was too much of a romantic fictional novel than sounding of the real truth because it is very graphic and sexually charged. Read at your own risk, but I was fully immersed in this book it was very intriguing.

I think it really happened, BUT...

This book is not written like a novel or a fiction. It is written as if someone is really, truly, honestly trying to tell her story. It's like a journal, or a diary in a way. And anyone that read the book from cover to cover KNOWS it is not just about her escapades with Michael, but about the work she was really involved in for children. The book is definitely sexually graphic at times, and I literally can't decide if that makes it more believable or more unbelievable.....? I believe her story. The content is rich, and moving. I'm sure she had to fill in a couple details, but I haven't read a "true story" book where the author didn't have to fill some time/memory gaps. I believe her.
Which leads me to the BUT in my title. I've read a lot of MJ books. This story fills in yet another puzzle piece of who he really was. However if THIS book is true, two other things are true:
1. No one knew who Michael Jackson really was. Not his family. Not his closest friends. Not his bodyguards. What they "Knew"was what side of himself he showed them. Which changed from person to person. That is frightening to me. Because if this book here is true, it makes everything, absolutely everything we've heard about him (yes even the child molestation accusations) more true. Whose to say it is not? Everybody is convinced based on their opinions reading or watching videos on Michael, or their personal interaction with him for X number of months or years, that they can speak for him. Mind you there are several personality traits that are consistent no matter whose book you read. But you think you can truly say what he will and will not do based on how he made you feel? Not so. Which leads to my second point.
2. Michael didn't seem to want anyone to know who he really was. Sadly, Michael had a way of making you think you really knew him. And that you were his best friend or the only one his could really be himself with. This is partly not his fault, he had such a natural charisma to him, and he genuinely was hungry for friendship and love. But let's not be naive to think he did not know how to maneuver people places and things to work best for him. I'm not saying he's not a good person. I'm saying let's not make any scenario impossible to be true, because he was a very complex conflicted person.
All said, I don't think Ms. Vernon entirely, ENTIRELY cares whether or not we believe her story. And that's good! Honestly even though I'm utterly shocked this book is not some kind of best seller or being flooded with media attention just off her claims, I see this book as some kind of release for her. This was a hard and incredible experience to have gone through in private. Thank you for sharing it with us. Worth the read.

Book is Not True and Author is Rude

Was Expecting Something else. However, I don't believe a word that she says and she should state that this is a fantasy instead of promoting it like it's the gospel truth. It should be placed with Erotica because I wasn't expecting that. There was nothing interesting about it. And it was poorly written.
If you are looking for some soft core porn this is your book. I don't believe any of the details in the book. Perhaps they met but I doubt any of these things ever happened with Michael. For those that knew him would never believe any of this stuff. The pictures that she took, there are none with them together. However, if you like erotica with Michael Jackson as the star, perhaps you will like this book. If you want something based on reality, then leave this book alone. It was horrible. Absolutely horrible.
Shame on the author and for Miravella, some people aren't going to like your work. Get over it and stop complaining about it here. It is the mark of a pure amateur. Your English is not that great either. I saw your comments on another poster's review and it was rude of you. I highly suggest you stop lashing out at reviewers. Amazon is not the place for that.
